NewzScape’s Silent-Start Option

To change NewzScape’s Silent-Start option, go to:

Setup menu -> Settings -> Security

The Silent-Start option is for those situations when you never know who will be looking over your shoulder. The problem is that when you start a program, it may be a few seconds before it opens, and if your boss walks up at that moment, you will not be able to close the program before he sees what you are doing.

When this feature is turned on, NewzScape will start up minimized on Windows. Then you can click on it in the task bar to start using it when the coast is clear. On the Mac, NewzScape will not open any of its Downloaders or other windows, and as soon as it is done launching will bring the Finder to the front. You can then click on it in the dock and open a Downloader to start using it.
