ezGroups Help

Question: How do I add newsgroups?

Answer: Go onto the Setup menu and then to Groups. On the Groups window you can type in a newsgroup name if you know it. To select from a list, click the Select button, and the Newsgroups window will open. Click the Download List button. Once you see the group that you want, drag-and-drop it from the list to the list on the Groups window.

Question: What does it mean when the word “new” appears in the Status column?

Answer: It means that the file was found to be complete the last time you clicked the “Start Search” button. The purpose is so that you can quickly see what new stuff just arrived.

Question: What versions of Windows does ezGroups run on?

Answer: ezGroups has been tested on the 32-bit versions of Windows 7, Vista and XP. It should work on other versions, however you will have to download it and see for yourself. It only takes a couple minutes to try it out, and the program is very easy to un-install. ezGroups runs on all versions of Mac OS X. However, if you have an older Mac with a PowerPC processor, you will need to use this version of ezGroups.
