430 No Such Article Found

“430 No Such Article Found” is the error message given by a Usenet server when it doesn’t have the requested post. This can be caused by four things:

  1. The post is old and has scrolled off of the server.
  2. The server has the post, but is malfunctioning at the moment.
  3. The server doesn’t have the post, and has poor “completion”.
  4. The post is new and hasn’t arrived on the server yet.

If you get this error a lot, then you might want to consider switching to a better Usenet service, such as ours.

So i thought i was downloading, but i’m starting to give up i’m at 110 percent. I have been “requesting post” for quite a few hours. No parts are done and the last error was a 430? how long are the files available? how should i avoid this in the future?

      Richard,

I have no way to answer that without knowing which Usenet server you are using and the NZB file. Different Usenet companies have different policies when it comes to retention. You can avoid attempting to download non-existent files by first using SuperNZB’s “Check” feature.
