If you want to play a DVD from another area on your computer or TV, you must be aware of the region code that the disk will have on it. See the chart below. Your DVD burner will also burn a code onto the disks that you make, so if you are going to send a disk to someone in another country, they may not be able to play it. You must also be aware of the video format used in other countries.
