Database Upgrade

Up to version 2.0, the unPoster used a different format for its database file. In order to upgrade to a more-recent version of the program, you can re-enter your servers, newsgroups, etc., or you can follow the database-file conversion process here. In either case, you will have to use the Watcher to re-scan your groups.

To re-enter your info, remove the unPoster.sdb database file from your unPoster folder. The unPoster will then act as if it were being run for the first time.

To convert your existing unPoster.sdb database file, click here to download the conversion program. Once you have it, put it in your existing unPoster folder. Start the program and follow the on-screen instructions.
