The UnPoster - The Non-Stop Binary Newsgroup Downloader

Debug Mode

This option is located at: Setup Menu -> Settings -> Misc

If you think you have spotted a bug while scanning newsgroups or downloading files, you can use this option to send us evidence.

When this option is turned on, each Downloader window will make a text file in the unPoster folder listing all of its activity. Use this option when you want to send us evidence of a problem.

The first Downloader will create a file named Debug1.txt. The next will create a file named Debug2.txt, and so on. You can remove these files from your unPoster folder when you are done.

The Watcher will also make a file named Debug-Watcher.txt.

You can use the "Open App Data Folder" command on the "Help" menu to open the folder where these files are created.
