PixPlayerPro For Windows

WatchFast is not a free upgrade from PixPlayerPro because we had to completely re-write the program from scratch.

PixPlayerPro was written in Microsoft Visual Basic 6, which at the time was the most-popular programming language in the world. Then in March 2005, Microsoft killed off VB6 and replaced it with a piece of crap called VB.Net.

By forcing millions of VB6 programmers to buy VB.Net, Microsoft undoubtably made a ton of money. We bought the first two version of VB.Net, but were unable to produce any usable software with it since it was so riddled with bugs - not to mention that it was dramatically different from VB6, and we would have had to re-code everything anyway.

So, not only did we have to re-write PixPlayerPro/WatchFast from scratch in a different programming language (REALbasic), we also had to deal with the fact that we could no longer use the best programming language since Microsoft saw fit to kill it. The job has been very arduous and costly.

We hope that you like WatchFast, and we hope that you understand that we need to charge for this upgrade.
