Tiger (OS X v10.4) has a new thing called Spotlight. Spotlight indexes files on your computer so that you can find them faster. However, it siezes the files that PixNewsLite works with too quickly and causes PNL to crash. To fix this problem, go into your System Preferences, click on Spotlight, click on Privacy, and add the PixNewsLite folder.
