The PixNews2000 Newsgroup Downloader FAQ
Question: What does this mean checkdirs 3021 no current record?
Answer: Before PixNews2000 starts to download, it makes sure that the folders where files will be saved are there. It checks the Save-To folder for each newsgroup that is turned on, and the parts folder specified on the Parts Database window. You should check each one of those folders using Windows to make sure it is ok. The error could also be caused if there is something wrong with your disk drive. You should run ScanDisk and Disk Defragmenter, which come with Windows. If you upgraded to Windows XP, the location of your "My Documents" folder changes, so if you were saving files there, you would have to update the appropriate newsgroup's Save-To folder..
