File Types Window

The File Types Window can be opened by going onto the Setup menu and choosing File Types.

Purpose: This window pertains to the NZB window. NewzToolz uses the list of file extensions here to identify files in the subjects of an NZB file.

If NewzToolz comes across a subject where it cannot find the filename, it will show it to you, ask you to spot the file extension, and then enter it on this window. This is not hard to do. For example, if an NZB file contians a subject line with a filename such as crazyfilename.xyz, NewzToolz will complain about it. After you spend a few seconds entering "xyz" as a file extension on this window, you can then import the NZB file with no problem.
