Downloader Name and Server Settings

The Downloader Settings window can be opened by clicking the Settings button on the Downloader window.

Downloader Name box – You can name your Downloader anything you like.

Server – The servers you see in this drop-down menu are the ones you set up on the Servers window. If after using a Downloader for a while, you want to change the server, you should adjust the starting points for each newsgroup. Servers number posts as they arrive, and the “article numbers” are not in synch with any other servers. Therefore, if you switch servers, the starting points for each group that are stored in NewzScape’s database will no longer be correct.
