Download JpegJet for Windows

If you are upgrading from v2.0 or higher, you can just run the installer.

Versions of JpegJet prior to v2.0 did not have an installer program, so your current version is located wherever you put JpegJet.exe. This version's installer will default to the location in the "Program Files" folder where Microsoft recommends software to be installed, and JpegJet will also store its data in the recommended location.

So, first run the installer and accept all the defaults. Then you will want to move your current JpegJet files to the new folder. To find out where that folder is, go onto JpegJet's "Help" menu and use the "Open App Data Folder" command. The first time JpegJet runs, it creates some default files in this folder. Throw those files away and copy in the files from your original JpegJet folder. Copy all the files except JpegJet.exe.
