AuctionWatcher - eBay Scanning Software for WindowsOnline ManualHow AuctionWatcher WorksAuctionWatcher retrieves web pages from eBay's web site based on the eBay item numbers that you enter. It then scans the page looking for the price. The first time it finds a price, it puts it in the price box. Subsequent times, it looks to see if the price on the page has changed from the previous time. If so, it puts the new price in the price box and turns the box red. If for some reason it can't find a price on the page eBay's server returns, it will put "???" in the price box. This will happen after the auction is over for a few days, and also when AuctionWatcher doesn't get a response. Lack of a response could be because eBay's server had a problem, your ISP had a problem, or there was a problem in the internet somewhere. AuctionWatcher itself is, of course, blameless. And yes, eBay is going to get a lot more traffic on it's web site if a lot of people start using AuctionWatcher. You Call This a Manual?Yes, we do. So there. Hardly anybody reads manuals, so why should we knock ourselves out writing one? We have made AuctionWatcher as simple to use as possible. We dare you to complain about this manual. That's right, we are throwing down the gauntlet. Quick Start Guide
